Barbouni at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino is a (hidden) gem! The fresh fish here is absolutely incredible — you can truly taste the quality and freshness in every bite. Special shoutout to the chef, who prepared the most delicious fish soup we've ever had. The barbouni and the daily catch were also fantastic, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, with Petros, Nikos, and the rest of the team providing warm, attentive service that made our meal even more special. Great place for Sunday lunch. Beautiful beach views and very quick and attentive service. Tomato salad with calamari and squid was exceptional. Very generous portion. Fruit platter was huge. A lot of grapes! Definitely for sharing. Coffee pannacotta was not a traditional pannacotta, more like a mousse but delicious. Tried the Greek coffee. Rude staff who upsold us shamefully. They will make you get up out of your seat to look at the fish case, with a couple very adequate-seeming fish that are priced between 80 and 220 euros apiece, without even telling you what fish they are. It was an off-putting experience. We ended up just getting a round of appetizers and drinks. The views are amazing. But keep in mind the kitchen closes at 17:30 and the place closes at 18:30.
