Lighthouse — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

Went here a few nights ago,ordered drinks 2 appetizers and 2 mains. The drinks arrived and shortly after the appetizers and mains arrived together. We were not happy about this but let it go. We have been again tonight and specifically asked for the appetizers to be served before the mains, the waiter nodded and wrote something on the order slip. The food arrived all together once again, we tried to explain to the man who brought the food out but he didn't understand and called the waiter over. The waiter also did not seem to understand at this point so once again we had appetisers and mains together. When I paid I was asked if everything was OK, I started explaining again at which point the waiter was called over who just shook his head at me and said OK to everything i was saying, not even an apology. Needless to say we will not be eating there again when we return...

This is a great grill place and despite being the budget option of everywhere to eat it outshines many of the more expensive restaurants. The only thing lost here is a clear view of the bay. Other than that everything is really outstanding. We had the chicken salad and the pork souvlaki meal. Both were perfectly done. Service was quick and spot on. The price of food here is about 25% less than the local average. If you are happy with a smaller (but not small by any means) meal you can have one of the pita wraps for about €4 and not leave hungry. Drinks are also better value here so if you're on a budget or treating a big group to dinner this is the obvious choice but the tastiness of the food is the best...

I have been there 10+ times over 4 summers. Every year I used to love it: great gyros, good location, decent prices. However, this year (2022), it really feels like everything went down at Faros: long waits, they don't seem to serve gyros anymore past 8pm, the souvlaki are not as good as before, etc. They also charged me twice last time, saying that the card wasn't working the first time around but not showing me the payment terminal.
