The worse restaurant I ever been in my life, first the service is very bad, we were waiting for 45 mins there and we were the second talk, the place was empty, they know we were there. We said next to the window of the Grill, when they came with the bread, the bread was hard and it was old, I didn’t like that, the next table, one couple sat down, the guy came out and try to go to the other table, but we asked the waiter that we are ready to order, so he came, we place the order Mix Grill, cucumber salad and cheese with ham. The old man was the chef, he didn’t not was his hands when he start grill, we see him before touching thing with is hand outside before he when in to Grill, then he didn’t clean the grill with nothing, he was cooking the meat and touching it and flipping the steak with his hands, he was touching his nose inside and then he grab the sausage and put it on the side with his hands. That’s a big violation and disgusting. The Grill was so dirty grease on it and tar from cooking all those years never been cleaned. I was so shock that they have people cooking and give food like that so they can get poison, when later finally someone got out of the restaurant we said the situation what happened, the lady stat laughing,it’s not funny, that’s why no one goes there and the place is always empty, they want us to pay, I said I will pay what I ate cucumber, salad, and cheese and ham that I pay, but I not paying the Steak that he touch and touch is nose pick on it and touch again and never wash his hands and it has Bacteria and never been clean. It is family ruled and the treatment is maybe not condescending, but correct and kind. I did visit it off season in april, so it was not so many guests. I asked what fish was fresh for the day and was shown into the kitchen. I could chose a Dorade in a size I wanted. I also chosed fresch squid, Kalamares. The Squid was cut i quite big pieces, which made it juicy even after it’s been fried. The Dorade was perfect grilled on chaircoal, with taste of that on the skin. The meat was juicy and it was served with a lemon-olive oil sauce. I asked for a half bottle 350 ml dry white wine, but was a half litre pot, but i tasted okay. I was very satisfied...

This amazing family taverna is on the square, away from the pretty sea edge, but a perfect place not only to sit and people watch and feel a part of the community, but try amazing food.
The food is amazing!!! The fish is so fresh, the food is delicious , the service is authentic and welcoming: you feel part of the family.
The zucchini balls are the best I’ve tasted in greek, the tzatziki is strong enough to kill a vampire, and the mains are cooked to perfection.
