RAMA — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Lesvos

We were really looking forward to spending time at this beach restaurant in Petra, but the experience started on the wrong note. The staff, particularly the lady who greeted us, was more focused on enforcing the €10 charge for the sunbeds per person than actually welcoming us. 🇬🇷 Ελληνικά Η πίτσα είναι καλή, αλλά η εξυπηρέτηση για πακέτο είναι απογοητευτική. Όσες φορές προσπαθήσαμε να παραγγείλουμε τηλεφωνικά για να παραλάβουμε και να φάμε σπίτι, μας αποθάρρυναν. Τελευταία φορά, μου είπαν ότι δεν μπορούν να με εξυπηρετήσουν γιατί έχουν πολύ κόσμο και πως θα πρέπει να περιμένω μία ώρα. Είπα ότι δεν έχω πρόβλημα, αφού το φαγητό το ήθελα για αργότερα, αλλά η κυρία στο τηλέφωνο δυσαρεστήθηκε και απάντησε με το ζόρι. Πέρασα από το μαγαζί λίγα λεπτά αργότερα και είχε μόνο δύο τραπέζια με πελάτες. Αυτό μου δίνει την εντύπωση ότι απλώς δεν θέλουν να εξυπηρετούν πακέτο, για να αναγκάζουν τον πελάτη να φάει εκεί και να πληρώσει περισσότερο. Δεν μου άρεσε καθόλου αυτή η τακτική.

🇬🇧 English The pizza is good, but the takeaway service is disappointing. Every time we tried to place a phone order to pick up and eat at home, we were discouraged. Last time, I was told they couldn’t serve me because they were too busy and that I’d have to wait an hour. I said I didn’t mind, as I wanted the food for later, but the lady on the phone sounded displeased and reluctantly agreed. A few minutes later, I passed by the restaurant and there were only two tables occupied. The pizza is really perfect like my mother did. The restaurant has really beautiful sightseeing. The people are really nice and friendly. After dinner they offer us delicious icecream for free. Everything was great. This place is already my favorite place for lesvos. I prefer this place blindfolded:) you should definitely try here.
