Service was great but the food was’t. “Meatballs cooked in tomato sauce” lacked flavor, as if the meatballs were slapped together on the spot just with some meat and large pieces of onions and then sprinkled with some cumin then drenched with sauce on top. Tomato sauce too lacked any flavor and the fries were soggy and the rice was cold and crunchy. Moussaka was better but the béchamel sauce was way too heavy. House wine was ok. What an absolutely wonderful place. We stayed in Anaxos for 2 weeks (August 2022) and visited the Malibu bar most days/evenings. The service is brilliant, everyone is so friendly. The food is great, so are the Pina Coladas! The atmosphere is very relaxed, so is the music and it reminded me of being in the Caribbean. We used the pool too, which was lovely and also very chilled.
