Charisma is a hidden gem in the heart of Karlovasi’ port. It’s selective wine and cocktail menu has been constantly honed over the years by its charismatic owner. The wine list features the finest Greek wines and the cocktail menu combines the quirky with the exotic; always using local ingredients and spices. The ambience is lovely and decor is classic with a hint of modern. If you need a little sustenance while you’re there, Charisma offers a few but intensely flavorful accompaniments such as a thin crust pizza from homemade dough topped with fresh basil from the owner’s garden, or a wonderful bruschetta topped with the ripest organic local tomatoes. Fresh fruit or cheese platters to accompany your wine choice are presented in the most colorful way highlighting produce of the season. Absolutely my favourite place on Samos, without a doubt. Mornings here with breakfast and a coffee are just as perfect as evenings with a glass of wine or a cocktail that’s on another level. The cocktails here are a true specialty — crafted with skill, creativity, and care, they’re easily the best you’ll find on the island.
