Kritamo — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

I’m leaving a truthful review about this shop. Don’t come here if you’re not ready to spend. I’ve read some of the reviews that it’s expensive, that’s when you’re not ready to eat some decent portions of food. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My personal faves are their house salad Kritamo, pork chops, sautéed mushrooms, fava and chicken tagliata. I have personally talked with the staff and they’re nice and friendly. They’re really doing their best to improve their food and service there’s no doubt in that. Love the ambience as it is cozy for a romantic date night, or family dinner and also with friends. Might be a little loud sometimes because of the driveway next to it, however, location-wise you get to see the harbour and if you’re lucky, you get to witness the ferry...

I had such a great experience at this place! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere felt cozy but still modern, perfect for a casual dinner or even a special night out. We ordered a few dishes to share and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The portions were generous without being overwhelming. One standout was the cheese balls, which was perfectly cooked. Service was quick but not rushed, and our server checked in just the right amount. Honestly, it’s one of those places you leave already planning your next visit....

We had a lovely and tasty meal with a nice bottle of dry red wine. The house salad, tzatziki, and marinated anchovies were followed by chicken filet in a cream sauce and the stewed veal. Everything was really nice. The only downside was the choice of greek punk music for part of the evening. Not that the music wasnt well performed. Jusy not ideal to accompany our meal.
