Kampos grill — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

Had a decent dinner here last week. Am satisfied overall. The staff was kind and attentive. It's just that the actual restaurant is located on the opposite side of the street, compared to where the terrace is located. So the staff has to cross the road every time they want to serve you. The drinks are fine but they didn't include any ice cubes with the Coke Zero though. The glass they poured the beer in was frozen though. The Souvlaki was really nice. It had the grill taste as expected and it was grilled on a stick as required by the traditional recipe. The seasoning was just right. The fries were as you expect, just like they do it in the Netherlands. Unfortunately though, the fries were put under the Souvlaki. This resulted in the fat of the meat entering the frites causing them to be soppy. It was nice for decoration, but not nice for consumption. I really wanted some frites so this kind of disappointed me unfortunately. Overall though, my experience was just fine and I really liked the Souvlaki and the terrace. Delicious traditional Meat dishes, in particular the mixed grill is highly recommanded. The friendly staff is open to wishes that deviate from the menu and also deliver/pick up them as well. The beautiful view of the sea and the playground next to the restaurant offers something for everyone. It is ultimately about the food and that is really great and the prices are nice to. We had dinner here 4 out of 7 evenings and every time it was a really great experience. We enjoyed coming back after trying other places, not that they were bad, but this place just had something special. Very friendly and loving atmosphere from the hosts and the food was always really really good. It is difficult to find the proper words...you simply need to experience...
