No visit to Nikoâs place is ever uneventful! You might think you are going to call in for a quick drink then three hours later you realise time has flown and you have met many new friends.
We have walked up to Anthousa, and then strolled back to Parga a few times just to see Niko. Sometimes we cheat and use the road train departing Parga at 10am, after a quick visit to Ali Pashaâs castle the train then stops in Anthousa for twenty minutes. We get off the train and head straight to Cafe To Neon to see Niko. We have no intention of cutting our visit to twenty minutes so the train departs and we have another drink.......or two. Later we stroll back down through the olive groves and past the old water mill to Valtos, and if itâs running get the water taxi back to Parga town quay.
Niko is always entertaining, speaks and understands perfect English thanks to his Wife, and is always up for a joke and a laugh.
