Vassilis Tavern — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

A very bad experience at the restaurant. Although the service was fast and the staff were polite, which is typically expected in the area, there were several aspects that left me dissatisfied.

One of the main issues was the portion size of the beef with lemon sauce dish that I ordered. It arrived in an embarrassingly small portion, consisting mostly of four pieces of meat resembling souvlaki, accompanied by only a few fries on the side. I requested to speak with the person in charge. However, the dish was simply returned to the kitchen with the waiter, and no one came out to apologize or address the issue during the considerable amount of time we stayed at the restaurant.

Another factor that added to my frustration was the price of the dish. At €12, it seemed quite expensive considering the portion size. The restaurant, in general, had higher prices compared to other establishments in the area, which made the overall experience less satisfactory.

Despite the average quality of the food and the high prices, the most disappointing aspect was the restaurant's snide attitude. The lack of apology or any attempt to address the issue professionally left me feeling disrespected as a customer. This kind of unprofessional behavior tarnished my perception of the restaurant and made me question their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Any positive aspects were overshadowed by the negative elements, making it a disappointing dining...

What a wonderful find. We walked from Terra Verde at top of Parga to Vassilis after my wife read some positive reviews. On arrival at Vassilis we were welcomed in a very friendly manner and seated in a shaded part of the Tavern. The services team all said Hello and had a little chat with us. One waitress suggested to us the Greek breakfast and this was when the fun started. First we had homemade custard pie with filo pastry with homemade lemon jam and marmalade local honey and chocolate. Next came homemade bruschetta with local tomatoes herbs and olive oil. Next came cucumber,olives and tomatoes with fresh bread. Then we were asked if we'd like our eggs next to which we had perfectly fried eggs and son had omelette. More was to follow ham and cheese came next and the offer of some fresh yogurt which by this time we were full. This was a full Greek breakfast and well worth going and all come for only €8 per person which I dont think you'll find anywhere else. Πολύ όμορφο μέρος, εξαιρετικό φαγητό και νόστιμα, προσεγμένα πιάτα. Το προσωπικό ευγενεστατοι και πολύ εξυπηρετικοί όλοι! Επιλέξαμε το συγκεκριμένο επειδή έχει επιλογές για κρεατοφάγους αλλά και για Vegan / Vegetarian, ενώ ήταν πρόθυμοι να τροποποιησουν τα πιάτα (π.χ σαλάτα ρόκα χωρίς παρμεζάνα κλπ),ενω έχει και μαγειρευτά (κυρίως μεσημεριανές ώρες). Τα κρεατικά τους επίσης γευστικότατα και τέλεια ψημένα. Οι μερίδες σαν ποσότητα "γεμάτες". Σε επίπεδα τιμών πολύ προσιτό, σε καμια περίπτωση δε θα αισθανθείτε απογοητευμένοι από τη σχέση τιμής/ γεύσης ποικιλίας/ ποιότητας/ποσότητας! Το μαγαζί ήταν γεμάτο, μας εξυπηρέτησαν σε φυσιολογικό χρόνο - δεδομένου του κόσμου, ενώ στο τέλος μας έφεραν και γλυκάκι (πορτοκαλοπιτα). Σημαντικό στοιχείο αποτελεί επίσης ότι το μαγαζί έχει έναν πιο παραδοσιακό χαρακτήρα, μακριά από τα πολύ τουριστικά μαγαζιά σε Πάργα - Συβοτα, σε ένα όμορφο χωριό όπως η Ανθουσα. Σαν χώρος είναι όμορφος, θυμίζει πλακόστρωτη αυλή, με πλατάνια, λουλούδια και φαναράκια. Το προσωπικό τηρεί τις αποστάσεις, κρατάει όλα τα μέτρα για τον covid, με μάσκες, ενώ απολυμαίνουν τις καρέκλες (οι οποίες είναι πολύ άνετες) & τα τραπέζια.
