if you are struggling to decide which restaurant to pick for lunch or dinner along the boardwalk, please read this review before you make your choice.

this restaurant blew my partner and i away. at first glance it is more humble compared to others along the boardwalk, still it has an amazing view of the sea and mountainside. we can honestly say it is the best! (we tried every restaurant during our 6 day stay). they offer traditional greek dishes which are actually rare to find here in alyki- as this village is more geared toward seafood.

when we say this was the best mousaka we have ever had, we are not kidding. we also highly recommend the mixed grill platter, fried cheese saganaki, and pasticio. the prices are insanely cheap, the service is impeccable, and the food always comes out extremely fast.

If you are looking for fresh, traditional Greek food look no further. Make sure you try the mousakka here, it’s delicious and quite possibly the best in all of Greece! I tried it several times during my vacation in Greece and each time left me disappointed and craving for the one made here, even the super fancy and somewhat expensive winery (which served amazing food) we ate at in Santorini couldn’t compete. The mousakka here is so good! It has a top layer that’s light and custard like, with potatoes and eggplant that are nicely cooked, and meat that is well seasoned. Seriously delicious. Their shrimp is really good too, fresh and cooked perfectly. My only regret is that I didn’t have enough time to dine here again to taste more foods...

It's one small step inside, and a giant leap to hospitality. Very warm welcome, friendly staff and great food with reasonable prizes. Many different specialties of mediterranean cuisine (saganaki with seasonable vegetables highly recommended), main courses really good. There are many restaurants alongside Aliki port, but this one feels special, not primarily because of the food (which is, as stated, great), but because of the way we were treated as guests.
