Jimmy's Balcony — Restaurant in Patmos Municipality

We came for a sunset dinner. The owner Jimmy is super friendly, funny and helpful. The view is very beautiful. Service is professional. Fava was the worst 6/10. Greek salad was OK 7/10. Grilled squid was average 7/10. Eggplant salad was good 8/10. Feta with honey was also delicious 8/10. Zucchini croquettes was so successful 10/10. Seafood risotto with squid ink was also great 10/10. The prices are average. Only ouzo is very expensive. All around Greece it’s around €7-8...

A cook sits at the terrace (fine by us), smokes in front of the clients (not fine by us), throwing smokes directly to the faces of customers (seriously?). Haven’t had seen such an absurdity in a very long time. In addition, those “cooks” are not greek, so it would be more than naive to expect the authentic greek tastes. Prices inflated distastefully. Yes, the view is lovely, but staff would not respect the paying customers....

We were unsure about this place for dinner because from the outside it looks like a cafe but actually it’s a very pleasant on the balcony and the views are fantastic. It’s a good place for sunset and watching the light slowly drop over Skala. The food is nothing special, we were pretty happy with everything except the calamari which was tough.
