Road House Beach Bar — Restaurant in Polygyros Municipality

We were a group of friends, each of us ordered drinks and snacks – not just one round, but several throughout the afternoon. We thought we’d enjoy a relaxing time by the beach, especially since there were plenty of sunbeds available. Seems fair, right?

Apparently not to the owner.

Out of nowhere, he stormed over and started yelling at us in front of everyone, shouting: “You can’t all have a sunbed just because you ordered something!”

Excuse me? That’s literally how beach bars work. You order, you sit, you relax. We weren’t freeloaders – we paid, we were polite, and we didn’t take up any more space than anyone else. But the way he spoke to us was completely unacceptable: aggressive, loud, and downright disrespectful.

Let me be clear – the staff were actually very kind and doing their best, but you could tell they were walking on eggshells around him. Can’t blame them. With that kind of leadership, it’s a miracle they can still smile at all.

This place could be great – the location is nice, the drinks are okay, and the vibe could be chill – but instead, it’s totally ruined by an owner who clearly shouldn’t be anywhere near hospitality.

Avoid this place unless you enjoy being shouted at for simply existing on a sunbed after ordering. We took our business elsewhere, and...

To any possible customer reading: Take my review with a grain of salt.

I personally didn't like most of the decor, the staff was okay so overall it was not a great experience, my drink was paid for by a friend so I didn't get to find out the price but I've heard it's expensive, or at least more expensive than the beach bar next door which provides basically the same experience at the same price, if this is true. Lastly, the mug my drink was in was a really cool skull so it gets 3 stars.

Die coolste Beachbar in Psakoudia. Die Innenausstattung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail zusammengestellt worden. Erinnert mich an eine Bar in NYC.

Hammer Auswahl an Spirituosen und wie man auf meinen Fotos sieht, keine billigen Kopien. Die Salate sind schmackhaft, knackig und lecker.

Aber jetzt kommt das Beste!!! Die Cocktails 🍹 Ich habe seit meiner Studentenzeit keine mehr getrunken, da diese meist Kopfschmerzen bereitet haben. Mag auch an der Menge und der Mixtur gehangen haben. 😎

Auf jeden Fall war ich kein Fan … lieber einen guten Wein. Aber die Cocktails, die Kiriaki und sein junger Kollege Ionnie mixen sind preisverdächtig. Mit hochwertigen Zutaten und einer Professionalität, wie ich es bisher nur in In-Bars von Metropolen gesehen habe.

Fantastisch und vor allem der Preis. Zwischen 8 und 10 Euro.

Zum Strand: Hochwertige Liegen, supernetter und flotter Service, schöner Strand, entspannte Atmosphäre. Wenn die Dunkelheit einbricht, coole Beleuchtung.
