dear Nicholas this is the photo of 4 shrimps that after waiting for 30 minutes were served cold and in place of the first course that was finished at the beginning of the evening but that nobody in your restaurant knew. the price is 16 € !!! we are not talking about the drop of oil (I must say excellent and offered) to be divided into eight and that was poured out only after our insistent request. As there is no other first course of our interest, we had to fall back on appetizers but in addition to the prawns we were served other portions of fried squid, these too warm and certainly not up to the standard. Finally, I don't know what to say about the rudeness of the owner who, notified by radio by his employees, had already prepared the bill of € 288 for fear of having to change it (to be honest he removed a portion of squid) and made us understand well with the his aggressive attitude his disappointment towards us. in 10 days in Skopelos we ate in about 15 different places (from the tavern to the restaurant) and we had a great time with all, only with you dear Nicholas we had problems so I think YOU are the problem with your arrogance and conceit You offered me to go back for 6 portions of the lost first course, but I don't need your alms. please don't answer me that you recorded with video cameras like you told one of my friends because I would have to ask you to send me those recordings right away and then verify that you said it just to try to discredit our review. he unfortunately for you...
Read moreI’m usually not one to leave bitter reviews when not satisfied with a place, but… it’s such a pity! Such a great location, the best-styled restaurant in Skopelos, it’s simply a pity for the food to be so -politely put- disappointing, especially when you pay a respected amount of money for it. I have eaten here on September 2022 and the difference in quality in a matter of 12 months was chaotic. I don’t know what happened, a change of chef maybe, but I just cannot accept that we (two people) payed 72 euros for a mushroom pie kind of dish that contained canned mushrooms -the main ingredient of the dish and it wasn’t even fresh-, a completely unsalted ragout that was not even a ragout (more like moscharaki with chilopites), a taramosalata that was not bound, served with shrimp chips that were so old you literally could not bite them. The shrimps were ok. The stuff was very polite, when we mentioned about the shrimp chips they asked us if we wanted them to bring us some fresh ones, to which we refused. I’m writing this review in hope that owners can take some action towards it. It is unacceptable for a place to price their food at this rate and for the quality to be so low. It is not a matter of taste, it is a matter of bad quality. I hope next time I visit the island I get to be pleasantly surprised by...
Read moreThis was supposed to be the highlight of my 40th birthday celebration and it was a huge disappointment. I regret I chose this place. It ruined my birthday celebration. Food is ok. Service is TERRIBLE. I felt like I was eating in a US fast food with waitresses that are too busy to take your orders or questions. My table wasn’t ready for the time of our booking. We waited 15 min to be accommodated. Service was slow because they were very busy. The first thing I ordered was a traditional mojito that didn’t arrived until the main course. It took many reminders to get it. It was flavorless and flat. Tasted like rum mixed with water. Eating there was an stressful experience. Everyone running up and down. Owners arguing next to us because they were trying to accommodate a table but they couldn’t agree how to place it. So crowded that it took away the experience of enjoying the food and the view. I wish I believed the bad reviews when I went to that place. They take more people than they can properly serve. I didn’t stay for desert. I was done with that place. Left almost in tears because I carefully planned my birthday week and the service in this place doesn’t match the description I read when I was making the booking. Last but not least It’s not kid...
