Milia Restaurant — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

Just terrible - was there for 4-5 mins before anyone acknowledged our existence so we helped ourselves to a table. Finally someone decided they'd had enough of their smoking break (which seem to be constant) - someone laid an inelaborate paper cloth over our table and thought he'd invented the light bulb... the food was bland at best, most of it frozen. We waited 45 minutes for anyone to clear our table which is 45 minutes longer than I could stomach to see my leftover food rotting away on my plate. Thanks for the watermelon at the end-nice touch ... but you already sank the ship. Despite there only being 3 tables at the restaurant I was surprised by the ability for 4 waiters and the chef to all be sitting around smoking. The owner is - to put it mildly - not as jolly as he looks. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Meryl Streep may have been here but I can guarantee you they'll never be coming back......

Milia restaurant was on our way from the beach and we went for a dinner without any expectations. But from the scratch understood - we made a proper choice. The staff was as hospitable as only Greeks can be: open, cheerful, welcoming. We followed the recommendations and tasted a delicious fresh lobster with pasta, vegetables grown in the garden behind the restaurant, as a compliment we had got freshly gathered figs, sweet watermelon and very clean distillate. And beer was served properly - in a frozen glass. Yummy! Just be aware of mosquitoes 😉 and have your repellent (and we’ve got one from the staff). If you value tasty and fresh food, excellent service, sea view - I strongly recommend...

The location is pure beauty.. but the restaurant was a disappointment ... I will not complain about the exorbitant prices (e.g. greek salat 9€) nor about the pre-fried and reheated squid, fried cheese, etc... Maybe I have learned to expect these now... But the fact that the waiters rubbed in front of me (behind the bar) the expiry date of the beer I asked for was unacceptable! At first I didn't noticed what happened, I thought they were opening the bottle but the taste of the beer together with the image I had of the strange repetitive movement under the bar made me suspect a scam and I saw on the bottle the date scratched and faintly the expiration date could be seen ...March 2022 When I complained to the waiters they admitted that they hadn't noticed, that it was their fault but they didn't replace it and didn't take it off my bill! I asked for the manager who never showed up...

Η τοποθεσία είναι μια σκέτη ομορφιά.. αλλά το εστιατόριο μια απογοήτευση μια αισχροκέρδεια... Δεν θα παραπονεθω για τις εξωφρενικές τιμές (πχ χωριάτικη 9€) ούτε για τα προτηγανισμενα και ξαναζεσταμενα καλαμαράκια σαγανάκι κτλ.... Ίσως έχω μάθει να τα περιμένω αυτά πλέον... Αλλά το γεγονός ότι οι σερβιτόροι έτριψαν μπροστά μου (πίσω από το μπαρ) την ημερομηνία λήξης της μπύρας που ζήτησα ήταν απαράδεκτο! Στην αρχή δεν κατάλαβα τι έγινε, νόμιζα άνοιγαν το μπουκάλι αλλά η γεύση της μπύρας μαζί με την εικόνα που είχα της περίεργης επαναλαμβανόμενης κίνησης κάτω από το μπάρ με έκανε να υποψιαστώ την απατεωνια και είδα πάνω στο μπουκάλι την ημερομηνία τριμμένη και με μεγάλη προσοχή να αχνοφαινεται 03/2022. Όταν παραπονέθηκα στους σερβιτόρους παραδέχτηκαν ότι δεν το είχαν προσέξει, ότι ήταν λάθος τους αλλά δεν μου την αντικατέστησαν και δεν μου την αφαίρεσαν από τον λογαριασμό! ζήτησα τον υπεύθυνο ο οποίος δεν...
