Σεργιάνι στην Περαία — Restaurant in Thermaikos Municipality

When we arrived the place was almost empty. There were maybe two other tables with people. We were served a bottle of water, that we didn't order, an we know that they charge it. We ordered the food and while we waited, the place atarted to fill and in a short time it was crowded. Others received their food before us. We ate and when we wanted to leave and pay, they didn't wanted to bring the receipt to us. We asked to pay minimum 5 times and they aknowledged this every time. They said "yes", asked if we wanted to pay with cash or card, however they never brought the receipt. They were passing the table as if we weren't there. When we were already angry and in disbelief about what is happening, they said they had a problem, offered sweets, however never said how much we need to pay. We wanted to leave. We left angry and nervous and left money on the table. It was more than the receipt I am sure, and I now regret this. I shouldn't have paid at all. I don't recommend it at all. Skip...

Great food selection. Worth the extra money. It is more expensive than take away convenient food but the experience is great.

The service is excellent. Very personal. The owner and staff are very welcoming and approachable on the street.

Atmosphere: greek music in the background, family friendly and easy access. Indoor and outdoor / beachfront seating available. Too many cats outside but they are not a nuisance to the experience but encouraged by customers feeding them. Otherwise 5 star all round compared to being in the busy streets of central Thessaloniki.

We visited this restaurant on the first day we arrived here. We were immediately greeted by Mr. Panayiotis who created a pleasant atmosphere. We were surprised by the large portions of delicious food. We tasted Greek specialties as well as seafood and there is nothing we could fault.
