Manolis' poplar — Restaurant in Volos Municipality

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, including the owner, who went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time.

The food was absolutely outstanding, with the fresh fish being a true highlight. Every dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing both quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship.

This restaurant is undoubtedly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere....

Probably the most honest tavern in volos, concerning price and quality of food. No gourmets, no overprices for small portions. Serves good meat and fish, personally I prefer meat so always I'm getting the burger portion which is my favourite burger in volos, also you can taste some traditional meze in a better quality than tsipouradika since it is a tavern ( my favourite is potato salad). You can find restaurants with cheaper prices but they won't have this quality of materials used. Very lucky for tourists staying in Xenia to have such a good, fair tavern across the street....

Loved them all : the food, people, atmosphere... Food: fresh, original tastes: fish , vegetables, hand made fries, delicious bread, tasty meat ( on the other hand: it's a fish restaurant by the sea , so it's better to eat fish stuff...shrimps , calamari... delicious!!! ) .
