Kaliviotis — Restaurant in Volvi Municipality

Visited this restaurant on a family holiday. We weren’t really welcomed in the “greek style” at all. Just simple hello. Waiter number 1 put the table-cloth on our table, speechless, weirdly looking at all of us. Then he brought us 3 menus for 4 adults. He was walking around all the time, bringing food to another table and taking away their dirty dishes. Their table and ours were the only ones in the whole restaurant. Then waiter number 2 came to take our order, he was a little bit nicer. Waiter 1 was serving us since then, bringing us food and drinks, always just put it on the table, without a word (except for meal names). During the whole time while we were eating, noone came to ask if everything was okay or if we needed something else. When we finished eating, we kept being ignored until I shouted at waiter 1 that we would like the bill. Waiter 2 brought the bill, put it in front of us just saying the amount and left again. I am giving two stars only for the food which was actually quite good, although we were missing some extra olive oil bottle on the table. If you like to try typical Greek cuisine with homemade dishes and seafood, beautiful direct view to the see, with big trees giving you great shadow in the hot, this is the place. Before this place, we check a few highly rated restaurants for homemade dishes and they reacted like this is old school, and everyone has to eat fish! Here we had fish not from a sea farm, but directly from the sea. At the end, we received a baklava as a compliment! The waters gave us good service in a very good spoken english. Everything...

Nice atmosphere, they have a big garden with natural shade, sea view, children can comfortably play around, as there is a lot of space.
