Restaurant Stratis — Restaurant in Volvi Municipality

One of the worst places I went to eat in stavros. When I went there it was quiet and not many people. So I tought nice place to seat outside and enjoy my moment and my meal. I asked for the traditional Gyros in that Greece traditional tortilla but I got something different on my plate.. some fries with the gyros meat, but that was not a big deal for me. My bad experience was that after eating im waiting almost 30 min for somebody come to my table to clean the empty plates and ask me if I want something more, like some dessert or some coffee or something more. After all I'm the one who was needing to walk to inside and go search for my bill. I just spend my time waiting for nothing, I totally lost my feeling to eat something more there and when I complained to them that they should look beter for the tables they answer me that if I'm not happy next time not to come there. Totally shame for such a pretty place... totally unacceptable such a answer to someone who goes there put he's money. And totally no consideration for the visitors and even not asking the apologies for the bad service. It was my first and last time. And I regret that I didn't walk way without pay after get...

Stavros is really a place to eat great food. I picked Stratis for meat meals twice and it turned out as the best place for it. Both of those meals (kokkinisto and pork chop) was excellent and i put them in 2/3 top spots on my overall list. I din't try seafood there, but can only imagine how good it is. The ambiance is beautiful and restaurant itself is from 1924, so you can feel experience in meals you try. Service is fast and really good. Must visit when in town!

Stavros je pravo mesto ako volite odličnu hranu. Posetio sam Stratis dvaput i oba puta birao meso. Oba obroka su bila izvanredna (kokinisto - teletina u paradajz sosu i svinjski kotlet) i zaslužuju dva od tri mesta na vrhu liste. Nisam probao morsku hranu, mada je i ona verovatno odlična. Ambijent je prelep. Restoran radi još od 1924, a to iskustvo se može osetiti u jelima koja probate. Usluga je brza i zaista dobra. Ako ste u Stavrosu obavezno...

We spent more than a week in Stavros and dined almost every night at Stratis. Very good food, always fresh, really delicious. Good diversity of Greek meals - from sea food and fish, to salads, mousaka, fried zucchini, grilled aubergine, guiros, amazing veal and pork stakes, desserts, etc... We tasted almost everything from the menu. Very fast and friendly service, clean and really nice under the trees. The family and team of Stratis are great - welcoming, friendly, caring... Everything you need at a good Greek restaurant....
