To Kalyvi — Restaurant in Zagora - Mouresi Municipality

I had high expectations walking into a restaurant with a 4.7 stars and unfortunately I was disappointed. The stuff was friendly even though it was really busy and the atmosphere was pleasant. The quality of the food was not the best and none of the dishes that we tried was tasty. Initially we ordered the zucchini flower meatballs, the kalyvi salad, the giant beans, the politiko veal and the grilled cheese. After we found a hair in the meatballs we asked to get the eggplant instead. The salad and the cheese were okay, the eggplant was quite tasty and the rest just tolerable. They took out the zucchini flower from the bill because we gave it back as a whole dish (plus the hair) and we paid for the rest without any reimbursement. We didn't enjoy our meal and I wouldn't recommend this place. Nevertheless, the waiters were very fast and polite and the location...

This place have a lot of pros and cons. Pros - Beautiful view, even Incredible. It has a nice view to the mountains, the beaches and the sea. Another good thing this hotel has to offer is the pool. The pool is nice and big and dont have a lot of people in it most times.

Now to the cons - The meals are NOT good, the breakfast gave me and my friends stomach multiple times. The dinner was also very bad offering us pasta which was not bad but the meat was hard to swallow and process, and im not the only one who thinks that, the one time we are dinner the place was empty and no one came to eat.

Highly recommended! We went there for lunch quite early and the giant beans were still in the making, so we decided to order stuffed zucchini flowers instead. It was our mistake to not have asked beforehand if the stuffing contained meat (usually it doesn't). As we are veggies the stuffed flowers remained mostly untouched, except for the one that revealed the meat... When I went to pay, the giant beans were ready and we were offered a box to take away.
