Pilio Sea Horizon Hotel — Hotel in Zagora - Mouresi Municipality

We ended up here, because Leona really wanted a pool. So yes, it has a pool (1 of the stars) and the pool is closed from 2:30-5:30. It also has almost no internet - maybe because we got one of the last available units furthest from the main building with no telephone reception, nor wifi reception - we experienced a strong signal at the pool (this doesn't equal proper internet, though). The room was big and there were 4 beds - plenty for us (1 of the stars). The interior is very old and sad-looking - very heavy furniture that has a weird 60-80s vibe. When we started to shower, dirty and smelly water gushed out from the drain in the floor. Breakfast started at 8 AM and we were there just when the clock hit 8 AM - I got the feeling that the employees would have liked to have those early minutes of the day to themselves. So this is my official apology for being on time.

Don't book at this hotel. The rooms have not being refurbished since the 80s, the bed mattress is so old that your body is in pain in the morning, there is no wifi or signal (so you can not actually communicate with nobody while you are staying there), the pool is average. In the bathroom there is mold everywhere and the baby coat I asked to bring us was so old it couldn't open, so me and my husband had to share an uncomfortable double bed with my 1.5 years old baby. I had back pains every morning 😞

The only thing that was ok was the person that cleaned our room, very nice lady and very polite, didn't speak greek or english thought. Also the location is very nice, too bad that the owners don't care about maintaining properly their facility.

Don’t book at this hotel! The employees are not fair and steal your money. ||I have booked a room in that hotel from Friday til Saturday (23/7 til 24/7) because they have a charger for electric cars. At the moment I arrived, thy know that the battery was empty and I could not go anywhere they told me that it is 40€/hour to charge. 7,5 hours X 40 = 300€ only for charging. In other hotels it is for free, or just for the price of the electricity (10-15€) even 20€ is ok, but 300€ is insane! ||So i cancel the booking, because I dint had a choice. Stil they take 72€ from my credit cart and didn’t pay it back. ||There are a lot of nice little hotels in the near were you can stay and were they help you a lot.
