To Kafeneio tou Kouli — Restaurant in Zagori Municipality

This turned out to be our favorite place to hang out in Papingos Village. Very friendly owner. Excellent music. The alcohol beverages are made with original labels and not rotgut which is commonly found in touristy areas.

The verandah covered with a thick canopy of wine leaves offers a lovely, cool refuge from the hot sun. At night, the view of the mountains silhouette and the slate roof houses offer a dreamlike atmosphere.

They also serve delicious sweets, waffles and a variety of juices. I definitely look forward to visiting...

Hands down the best Cafe and sweet place to grab a snack in the morning in Papingo. Decent ingredient quality, reasonable prices and very friendly personnel. The homemade sour cherry drink is fantastic. The crepes and the waffles with ice cream are equally awesome. Αρνητική εμπειρία. Μπήκαμε στο κατάστημα ως παρέα περίπου 15 ατόμων, σε μια στιγμή που ήταν σχεδόν άδειο (υπήρχε μόνο ένα ζευγάρι με βρέφος). Ο ιδιοκτήτης φάνηκε απρόθυμος να μας εξυπηρετήσει, τονίζοντας ότι είναι μόνος του και πως η εξυπηρέτηση θα καθυστερήσει. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, ο χώρος ήταν ευχάριστος και αποφασίσαμε να καθίσουμε, και τελικά εξυπηρετηθήκαμε σχετικά γρήγορα.

Ωστόσο, υπήρξε ένα πολύ δυσάρεστο περιστατικό έντονου καβγά ανάμεσα στον ιδιοκτήτη και άλλο πελάτη, που δημιούργησε πολύ αρνητική αίσθηση. Η συμπεριφορά του ιδιοκτήτη μας προβλημάτισε έντονα, και απ’ ό,τι είδαμε σε άλλες κριτικές, δεν είναι μεμονωμένο περιστατικό. Επιπλέον, οι τιμές των προϊόντων μας φάνηκαν υπερβολικά υψηλές σε σχέση με αυτά που προσφέρονται.
