We have visted tavern recently. Only two tables were occupied. Waitreses (2 ladies) were friendly, however we felt we disturb them. For the menu we have waited approx 10 mins, then another 10 for order collection - we gave signs we are ready to order. We asked for fish recommendation, that would be suitable for kid (fish that have fewer bones or biger ones), we were assured the fish will be filleted to meet our needs. Unfortunately fish was full of small bones and for sure not suitable for kid. The portion was small, our 3yr old ate the fish and chips and was still hungry(he is not a big eater). I would expect more from meal for 16.5 eur. We have ordered souvlaki as well, meat was hard and did not taste well. Chips were „swimming” in oil on the plate. As pro-we were served fresh fruit for desert „on the house”. In general i dont recomend - service is poor, food quality is rather medium to poor and the size of the portion is not adequate for the price. Read moreUnfortunately we didn’t have such a good experience at this place . The food was tasteless, we had fritura that had no taste and no condiments if you would close your eyes you wouldn’t know what are you eating, pasta with sea food with two shrimps and two mussel and to dry you can see in the photo , fried potatoes more like boiled and the tzatziki was like a plain yogurt, the garlic was not there at all. The brought us water and bread even if we didn’t asked for and we were charged for them even if we didn’t ate them, without telling us, -10 points this is not hospitality it’s just a turist trap. When I say the food was not good they didn’t even flinch you’re problem not mine. The house wine was bad we couldn’t drink it . Everything looked okay but unfortunately you need to work at the taste and ingredients. I will stop here . I don’t recomand it at all...
Read moreWe really liked the place – the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was especially pleasant in the evening.

During my stay, I encountered many cats who were sick, starving, dehydrated, or injured. Sadly, many businesses and locals seem to turn a blind eye to their suffering.
We come to this island for its beauty, but we shouldn’t close our eyes to the silent pain around us. A bowl of clean water or a handful of food — such small gestures can make a huge difference in the lives of these animals.
I sincerely hope that this business and others on the island become more aware and compassionate. Kindness costs nothing, but its impact is infinite.
💔 Please, Zakynthos — be better for...
