Mythos Restaurant Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

We stumbled upon Mythos by chance while visiting Keri Beach and decided to come back for dinner that evening — and what an incredibly good decision that turned out to be.

The food was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish. Their selection of wines was delightful, the cocktails were well-balanced, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and highly professional — they clearly know what they’re doing and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

One strong recommendation: make a reservation in advance, especially if you plan to visit around sunset — which you definitely should. The view at sunset is simply breathtaking. Words can’t do it justice, and even our photos didn’t capture how stunning it really was.

Zakynthos has many restaurants with beautiful views, but Mythos truly stood out for us as one of the most memorable. The setting, the food, the desserts, the wines, the cocktails — everything came together to create a truly special evening.

There is also free parking available on-site, which is a nice bonus and makes getting there easy and stress-free.

A missed opportunity. This taverna is located half way up the hills at the side of Keri Beach which is a beautiful spot with stunning views over the bay and across to Laganas. The menu is quite limited with an emphasis on Italian style dishes (understandable given the number of Italian tourists) and the prices are notably higher than the other tavernas in the area. This would be fine if the food was of notably better quality, which from our experience it is not. I had the fresh tuna pasta, which was ok. The tuna was good, if not well seasoned, and the dish overall was nothing outstanding. My partner had the lamb, which was very disappointing as it had pork in as well. She complained, and to be fair, we were not charged for that dish. Nonetheless, I had expected this pal e to be much better, but the food, as far as we experienced, is nothing special for the price. There is a real opportunity for someone to create a brilliant restaurant, perhaps with the emphasis on excellent local cuisine, that would match the beautiful setting, hence the missed...

I had been there with my friends, 24 pax, adults and kids. We enjoyed the view and the place until one of our friend did not want to order food, only wine and desert. In that moment the waitress told us that is not ok, that we ocuppied the places of other clients how might be eating. From that moment we become not invited persons and we had been served with dezgust. We order two or three times until the food was brought. It was a mess and a awful experience. When we gave our feedback to the manager, he had the same atitude and motivated that is the full seson and we occupied the places of people who eat, and he lose money It did not matter that 80% of us has eaten, only few of them had only drinks and desert. So, if you are a nice customer, who eats and drinks a lot, maybe you will have a good experience.
