This restaurant is ok, nothing special or spectular. It is a bit like the type of Greek restaurants that used to be in the Netherlands until some 5-10 years ago. Most of them disappeared or updated themselves. But if you are having dinner with little kids then you might consider going to this restaurant because of a small playground they have. The bill however is way too high for the quality of food they offer. Over €80 for 2 adults and 3 kids, one of which had the kids spaghetti, the other two a pizza; some drinks and 3 deserts. And last but not least, when paying the bill the ever present excuse of a malfunctioning payment terminal is there again. This is surely not related only to this particular restaurant, but when the price is too high for the quality offered, then it becomes annoying. It is the same ritual in many restaurants: the machine is broken, you can pay me cash, there is an ATM around the corner. So as a customer I have to walk to an ATM after dinner, because restaurants are avoiding taxes. And guess what? The service charge at the ATM €3,95 for withdrawing €100. Dear restaurant, I would have given you a nice tip, had your bill been acceptable and had your payment terminal worked. I would have returned 2 or 3 times and I would have told other people about this...
Read moreBeautiful flower decoration! But thats the only positive thing about this restaurant. Way too crowded...too many tables... We ordered 2 appetizer and 2 plates and we were still hungry. Taste was nothing special. Appetizer sizes are really emberassing for this price. Mixed Grill plate had literally 100g of meat on it. The neighbour table had Pizza and it was definetely not selfmade looked and tasted like frozen convenience with some cheese added thats what they said. After waving and waiting for the bill couple times the waiter told me to go and pay inside at the bar. The bill should be around 50€ and it was 70€ cause they charged some weird service fee and for a Sirup+water lemonade(recommendation from the waiter for the baby claimed as selfmade) for 8.50€. my baby literally had a sugar fever from it. They also charged for 2 slices of bread without ordering it. I was shocked by this tourist scam, went back to my table dropped 20€ and left the place in disbelieve.
I cant recommend this place at all! Its a tourist scam reviews seem to be bought or something. Its also amusing that the owner comments every bad review with brazenly denial...All bad reviews are obviously liars in his eyes... What a...
Read moreAn amazing place with amazing food. It comes very close to one of the best food experiences I had in Greece until now. The staff is very nice and some of them even speak a little Dutch because of the amount of Dutch tourists that visit them. The plates are very decently big and dressed. The prices are also very reasonable. The service is a bit inconsistent though, since sometimes they offer a drink when requesting the bill and sometimes they don't. They do serve appetizers by default when ordering though, which is common on the Greek islands and very delicious and nice! The staff is very kind, but when the restaurant is crowded, they quickly lose the overview somewhat. This results in long serving times and sometimes in forgetting you requested something. They also don't always have everything in stock, or too little to serve all their customers. A solution to this is to just inquire about the availability of your order some hours in advance though. They generally have the time to prepare it for you then. Especially when desserts are concerned. Overall I'm very satisfied with the experience I've had here. If you're nearby this restaurant, I'd definitely recommend you to check...
