The restaurant is inside the the Tikal Archaeological site and is very nice, serving good local food. We really enjoyed the delicious food and drinks.

Le restaurant El Meson est une maison de type Maya nichée dans le parc de Tikal. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine. La viande cuite au barbecue était très bonne. Le restaurant est agréable dans un bel environnement fleuri et reposant. Bon accueil et bonne ambiance. Nous avons passé un agréable moment.

No pictures, bummer, but the food was very delicious, simple, like the vegetable soup, but rich in flavor. We visited here on a prepaid tour so I’m unsure of menu prices....

C'est un restaurant principalement fait pour les groupes. Pas de carte, un seul menu avec la viande (ou pas) qui change (poulet, boeuf, porc). Le jeune serveur à été très gentil avec nous et à fait particulièrement attention à l'allergie aux poivrons de ma femme (les plats ont été adaptés avec ce qu'ils avaient sur place, en conséquence). Seuls les prix des boissons sont affichés sur une carte. Sinon surprise à la caisse. Un peu cher pour ce que c'est mais cela reste correct pour...
