The Old Hall Sark — Restaurant in Sark

I visited The Old Hall twice during my holiday in Sark and loved it! The place is cosy and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe and really friendly, attentive staff. The menu is varied – I had a spicy chicken dish with vegetables and peanuts, paired with French wine and a lemon dessert. Everything was delicious! I also spent the whole day there for the Folk’n’Ale Festival on August 2nd – good music, a fantastic atmosphere, and a special menu (I had a pulled pork sandwich with apple sauce – amazing!). The expanded beer selection was excellent. They brew their own beer, “Rabbit’s Tail” – it sold out before I could taste it! Can’t wait...

Really enjoyed the food at Old Hall! It was amazing. You can tell that so much love went into making it and you can also see the quality of the ingredients. The scallops were amazing, the parsnip puree that accompanied them I absolutely loved. All the staff here work really hard to make sure that you have a good time you have to give them credit. Overall really lovely place , great food , great company....

On consecutive nights we had the special fish of the day (sea bass) and seafood linguine. Both were superb, but too generously portioned to leave room for anything more! Service was excellent, friendly and relaxed. There are several excellent restaurants on Sark, and The Old Hall is up there with the best of them. Prices are exceedingly reasonable, too. Don’t let this wonderful place...
