The view and location is really good. Food was good as well. Service full chaos, there were pastry without names and prices and I asked the counter guy what’s this? He answers « what’s written » and I answered nothing is writes. He then tried to explain what’s the pastry, without excuse or anything. Then the order pick signed I went to get my order the coffee and the limonade weren’t ready in the same time. I asked the coffee girl what about limonade? « she answered take the coffee and wait ». My friends waited for one hours only for simple eggs service we asked them 2 times what’s going on they never excused, the other plates weren’t available and they do not announce that in advance. This place needs really a good management with experience and teach these people how to host customers instead of losing them as the location is perfect. And...

Branch23 in Tihany is a place that, overall, wasn't bad. The ambiance and the location are quite pleasant, but unfortunately, the service and food quality leave much to be desired.

Firstly, the service was terrible. You have to serve yourself, which is not ideal for a brunch spot. There were also serious issues with the food. The bread was burnt and hard. The avocado spread was too lemony, or maybe it was spoiled, I'm not sure. The eggs were bad as well.

In summary, while the place and atmosphere were not bad, the quality of the food and service at Branch23 in Tihany did not meet expectations. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because the food is not good enough for the price. It's called Branch23 for a reason: you should think 23 times before deciding to go in. Unfortunately we can't recommend this place! The food was ok, definitely had better. The homemade sourdough bread was very good though. But the glutenfree bread is a desaster, it costs extra, is dry and inedible.
