Stég Pizzéria Étterem — Restaurant in Balatonfüredi járás

My parents are returning guest to this place. They decided to bring us here too.

I won't complain about the taste or quality I would like mention the portion of the foods. The chicken breast was a tiny bit of meat on the top of the pile of rice. Half of plate was empty. My mum food size could only feed a toddler as well. My dad didn't order a soup as from previous experience the main was way enough. Today his main was hardly enough on its own.

We visited twice during our stay in Tihany. Since it's November, many restaurants were closed. The staff's very friendly & service is great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a separate smoking section. The restaurant has quite an extensive menu & the food was good.

We had lemonade, rustic potatoes, a salad with grilled goat cheese, seafood spaghetti, Margherita pizza with extra toppings & Cappuccino which was much better than what you get in most cafes in Budapest. The portions are...

All the dishes that were not pizza/pasta were very average and flavourless, relatively the most disappointing dining experience in Balaton area. Probably that is also due to highly touristic area, so I would strongly suggest to look for more local eateries to get better local food. If, however, pizza is what you are looking for, it will probably be good enough. However, rolled bacon-cheese pizza, as original as it looks, is with the ham, not the bacon, so that was a bit of a...
