DODO'S Kitchen Budapest étterem — Restaurant in Budapest

Stopped by to grab some food whilst waiting for my room to be ready. And oh my. Firstly, walking in to the restaurant is absolutely stunning, unbelievably clean and well presented, immediately greeted by part of a team there that gave me a table and took a drinks order.

The staff were fantastic, and although not my first language, they took their time to ensure I knew what I was ordering and were very polite.

The food came, starter, main and dessert and each course was absolutely fantastic! The presentation was phenomenal and taste was absolutely divine!

Had the best time here. We ate at several restaurants in Budapest, but here we found the best service yet. The waiter made us feel welcome and at home, like visiting a friend. Even if we did not speak hungarian, his english was amazing and the attention to details was very much appreciated.

The food was delicious. We tried the goulash soup, lasagna, burger and chicken with sweet mashed potatoes. It was a delight. We enjoyed the local draft beer and the atmosphere was amazing, as the restaurant is situated near the water, it is a really nice spot.

Július 2-ra terveztünk egy 15-20 fős családi ebédet az étteremben. 05.27-én férjem e-mailben érdeklődött, majd a kollégával telefonon egyeztetett. Jeleztük, hogy kipróbálnánk előtte, ezért 06.02-ra foglalt asztalt. Érkezésünkkor nem tudtak a foglalásról, majd a szerviz asztal mellé biztosítottak helyet. Elnézést senki nem kért, külön kérni kellett, hogy a széket takarítsák le, sajnos a felszolgálók a profizmustól fényévnyire vannak, fogalmuk sincs a vendéglátásról. Amikor végre leülhettünk, és az italunkat fogyasztottuk, végig hallgathattuk, ahogyan a vendégekről vélekedtek. A kávé hideg volt, az ásványvízhez poharat sem kaptunk. Láthatóan káosz volt. Ezek után nem ebédeltünk és nyilvánvalóan a családi ebédre sem itt fog sor kerülni. Sajnáljuk, mert a hely igazán hangulatos lehetne, gyönyörű helyen van, de a kiszolgálás minősíthetetlen, és a véleményeket olvasva ez nem csak nekünk...
