You won't get cabin fever here! Space to wander around, with direct access to the river beach to have a quick dip. We cycled here from Astoria and it took around 40 mins, there is a bike rack at the entrance which you can keep an eye on from the seating area. Visiting Kabin was a nice change from Budapest's bars, we visited during the day and found the area to be family and dog friendly. Beers are 700-1200 forint for ½ litre with the usual 250 forint plastic cup rental scheme. Takes a while to get to from central Budapest but once you're here you'll want to stay for a while, especially if the weather is warm. We didn't order food but they had food available.

It is very close to train bridge there, actually, that is the easiest way to approach it from either Szeged or Buda side, just go down on the stairs to the island and find the place. The atmosphere is really nice, you can walk in to the river if you want (dogs are doing that all the time), there are lots of chairs and sofas on the bank of the river, you can just sit down and relax, read. It is also a good place for family with children but smaller children must be supervised to not go into the river. Swimming in the river is forbidden for everybody!
