I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but for some reason, when I go to Starbucks in Budapest, the same thing happens. The same thing happened today in Etele Plaza Starbucks. The employees didn't ask me for my name. Sometimes I drink inside a coffee shop and order in a cup, it’s ok. Then, you don't need a name, but when is the paper cup? Of course I can imagine that it can be difficult to understand the name of a foreigner, but maybe you can clarify or check by membership card? Any travelers who want to get breakfast can consider to go other stores to get equally amazing food, this kind of treatment shouldn’t have happened to you when your trying to see the beauty of the country. It does no good service to the other locals who are genuinely nice and accepting to foreigners.
I’ll post the side view pic to the guy who was taking our order later, in case anyone...
