Tres Hombres — Restaurant in Budapest

Came across Tres Hombres as we were going to an event at Dürer Kurt and this was the closest, decent restaurant. We took the 47 tram from town and walked here. Although the restaurant was quiet when we arrived, we had a welcoming reception from the owner and the server. When you go, do take time to engage, as his plans on progressing the business are fascinating! We had Long Island iced tea and mango frozen margaritas to start, gin and tonic and waters, then pako breadcrumbed chicken burger to share, traditional nachos, chicken tacos. Forgot to take pics, managed to get the burger! Food was very good. Enough heat and spice without being overwhelming. We watched the chef make pizzas as we dined. First of all, the place doesn't feel Mexican at all. Little decoration, no vibe. The food we ordered (a fajitas and a quesadilla) resembled more of something from a fast food restaurant for half the price. One of the waiters was kind, the other had no clue about anything (wearing a grey Coca-Cola branded hoodie that on its own sent a message about the place).
