I am posting this after I left Pécs, but I lived about ~80m from this establishment, and was a frequent patron. I did a semester at the engineering and architectural school just up the road, and would always see at least one professor and countless fellow students there for the good price and food. Locals seemed to bring a really cool rubberware set that was like a pail. The locals would buy a large amount at lunch and supposedly take it home for when their family came home for dinner. On week days at lunch time there is a crowd. The line is that terribly long. It is a self service restaurant, very popular and takes long time to get to the counter. The prices are good. The food is like home made, a lot of dishes that you can eat there are not available in other restaurants. No spicy food. If you are passing by or living in Pecs, You cannot miss to visit this place, they serve Hungarian home made tasty food, nice environment, nice staff (English speakers).

Prices are really convenient.

They open weekdays at 11.15am & Closed at 5.00pm, Saturdays they close earlier. Between 12.30 to 2pm) it gets crowded and you might queue.
