Cafe Munkar — Restaurant in undefined

Cute little place which is a part of the guesthouse we stayed. We reached there 30 minutes before closing and they only had the pasta and fish stew left. The stew was delicious and as other reviewers have said, it's more like a casserole (dry, not like a stew). The pasta was okay-ish.

Cafe Munkar is one of the few restaurants that opens til 10pm in the area. We were so lucky to have found this restaurant late at night on our drive back to Reykjavik! The staff are so nice -- the waiter that was serving us was so kind, even though we were a large party coming in so late! And the food feels homemade. Our party was a fan of the salmon! Would def recommend...

We were a large party visiting the waterfall and were planning to go for lunch. We were being dropped off when the owner came out and was extremely rude (and vulgar) to our driver despite no other vehicles and him expressing that he was only dropping us off. I would certainly not frequent a place where this was the attitude to customers. We went away hungry...
