Castello Pizzeria — Restaurant in Kopavogur

We enjoyed two meals at Castello Pizzeria. We initially visited upon recommendation of our hotel staff; it was late and most places were closed. Even though we arrived 30 minute before closing, they welcomed us and were incredibly helpful in making selections. We were so impressed that two days later, we returned for lunch!

There is quite a variety to choose from: kebabs, pizza, chicken sandwiches, wraps and hamburgers. Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared fresh.

They have a few small tables across from the ordering counter but I highly recommend the upstairs dining area with a good view...

The kids enjoyed the margarita pizzas and the garlic bread but the adults hated their pizzas. The flavour combination didn't work, the cheese was too hard and the bottom was thin and watery in the middle and thick and dry elsewhere. Otherwise swift and good take-out service and nice that they were still open for service...

So delicious! Everything we tried was amazing and hit the spot after traveling all day long. Breadsticks are a must!! The breadsticks are covered in a delicious seasoning blend in and comes with yummy marinara dipping sauce. We had the Lamb Durum, chicken Kebab and Castello Pizza. Everything...
