Our excursion guide recommended that we needed to eat some Islandic Lamb, so after some research we came across Midgard.
Yes, the lamb is quite expensive, Yes, it is worth it. It was our last nice meal here in Iceland but it was delicious. The lamb shank was a nice amount and it was very tasty.
For desserts it was a 2 for 1 deal, which in my opinion would be a daily deal since otherwise 20 euros for just a piece of cheesecake would be an absolute robbery. Gina was our (and every guest's) server and was very warm and welcoming despite being the one to tell us that they had no pierogi that day which was not the best way to start. The food was all fresh and deeply inspired cooking that looked and tasted like someone really cared about what they were doing. With the atmosphere including picture windows of horses in pasture, who could ask for more? Very deserving of its 4.9 rating. Would go again in...
