The staff was very kind. For a starter, the mushroom soup of the day was excellent; it had a lovely accent of ginger and was incredibly comforting!

For the main course, the Green Pesto Pasta was very tasty and flavourful with a strong basil paste. We also had the Beef Steak (a replacement for the unavailable Horse Steak), which came with fried sweet potato and grilled asparagus. The saltiness level of the beef was perfect, though the steak did have a bit too much fat. I realized later I should have asked for a steak knife.

Finally, the Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert was amazing—a perfect portion to finish the meal!

We came into the restaurant at 21:15( they close at 21:30) they told us we could have dinner there. When we decided that we wanted to have pasta for dinner they told us that the kitchen didnt want to prepare them as they take too long to cook ( again we are talking about pasta). This situation was very annoying as all restaurants in the region were closed… very bad service to not serve clients just because the dish takes too long to prepare, can’t recommend a place where customer service is such unimportant. Not to mention that the restaurant looks worse than a college cafeteria… The only positive thing was that the waiter was...

We dined here on two separate occasions. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent— communicative, friendly, and professional. We tried four different courses, including Icelandic delicacies like horse steak and tuna, and everything was superb.

It’s just a 1-minute drive off the main National Road number 1, making it a convenient stop on a popular tourist route. Parking is easy, with spaces available right outside the hotel building where the restaurant is located.
