There is an inn attached to the restaurant, where we stayed on our first night in Iceland. The food seemed to be on the expensive side, given our first meal was at IKEA. HOWEVER, I felt it was totally worth it! We tried the shrimp dish and the horse steak fillet, and both are amazing. The shrimp dish comes with 8 shrimps in assorted flavours: coconut, cheese, Cajun, and almond with 2 dipping sauces. The horse steak first looked burnt from the outside, but don't be fooled! We were here in the early morning to get out of the cold and rain, and it seemed that all the restaurant had to offer was the breakfast buffet (which we were not interested in as we had just had breakfast). However, the young waitress attending to us could see that we wanted a hot drink, and offered to make us fresh coffee even though the only coffee available onsite was the filtered coffee at the breakfast buffet. The coffee - we got an Americano and a Latte - was also excellent for...
