My recent visit to Tamala Tree on Fatehganj Road was a remarkable dining experience, enriched by the exceptional amenities provided by Neo Club. This venue is a comprehensive destination, offering its members access to a sprawling gym, a vast swimming pool, recreational activities like pool, yoga, and a well-equipped convention hall, among other amenities.
The highlight of the evening was Tamala Tree's enticing restaurant situated on the ground floor, enveloped by a sprawling, inviting swimming pool, offering poolside seating for approximately 150 guests.
The culinary journey commenced with an assortment of delectable dishes:
Paneer Tikka (x2): A classic favorite, the paneer tikka was perfectly marinated, delivering a harmonious blend of spices.
Dahi Ke Kebab: This dish was an absolute delight, featuring umami flavors and served with a house-made green chutney, creating a tantalizing flavor profile.
Hara Bahara Kebab: These cheese-filled hara bhara kebabs were a delightful surprise, offering a delightful blend of textures and flavors.
Malai Chicken Tikka: The presentation and aroma of the Malai Chicken Tikka, served in a copper matka, added to its appeal. The dish was both visually stunning and delicious.
Mushroom Dim Sum: Tamala Tree also dabbles in pan-Asian cuisine, and their Mushroom Dim Sum with traditional dips was a revelation. The delicate, flavorful dim sums offered a delightful journey for the palate.
Pok Choy Water Chestnut Dim Sum (Siu Mai): A unique and delightful twist, these dim sums featured a potato starch outer layer and a wholesome inner filling, creating a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Veg Cheese Dim Sum: This dish offered a unique variation, adding a layer of diversity to the dim sum selection, and a pleasing contrast to the other options.
To complement this feast, Tamala Tree offers a variety of mocktails as they are in the process of obtaining a cocktail license. Among them, the mango-based mocktail was my absolute favorite, adding a refreshing and sweet note to the culinary journey.
After a delightful day at Tamala Tree on Fatehganj Road and exploring the fantastic amenities offered by Neo Club, our culinary journey continued to the first floor within the property, where we dined at "The Cube Kitchen." This fine-dining establishment boasts a seating capacity of approximately 60 people, providing a complete and luxurious dining experience.
Our lunch was a diverse and flavorful affair, and the following dishes took center stage:
Daal Makhni: A classic favorite, the Daal Makhni was rich, creamy, and bursting with comforting flavors.
Parda Biryani: The Parda Biryani was a true standout, capturing the essence of aromatic spices and perfectly cooked rice. Its presentation and taste were equally impressive.
Kadhai Paneer: A delicious vegetarian option, the Kadhai Paneer was brimming with spices and served with a delectable sauce.
Mix Veg: The Mix Veg dish was a harmonious blend of various vegetables, providing a fresh and vibrant accompaniment to our meal.
Among these delightful offerings, Daal Makhni and Parda Biryani particularly stood out, with their rich and unforgettable flavors. The Parda Biryani, in particular, was a masterpiece of taste and presentation.
