On 4th Nov 2019 I went for late lunch with my elderly parents here in this restaurant.our local guide showed us this place. The price didn't match the quality.The ambience and sitting are lovely. Staff took easily 10mins to attend us when there were only 2 tables occupied out of 12-15 or more tables. However for some reason the food prepared for us didn't quite turned up well. That is still acceptable that food may not always turn up excellent. The most irritating part was they kept on asking about the food to which I said paneer is like rubber. Afterward as I opted for card payment I had to go to billing desk which is unlike a restaurant billing desk. Read morePortions were huge. It feels a bit like a cafe, with the TV on a music channel, but for the prices I think that's fine.
There was a bit of cultural difference in our order but I think it's just down to differences between Indian and European tastes: Mint tea was strong black tea with some mint leaves in it.... Biryani was really tasty, but the mutton was very gristly for European tastes. For any other European travelers, I'd suggest trying the chicken instead.

The restaurant was empty when we got there. Lights were off. Staff made an awkward fuss about us as if they hadn't seen a customer in days.
They added taxes and a service charge to our bill. Which is always unfair when it isn't specified anywhere before hand. Then, when paying the bill we were asked if we would like to tip. Asking for a tip and adding a service charge is ridiculous. Just felt like they were trying to squeeze every rupee out of us.
