If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was hands down the most disgusting dining experience I’ve ever had.
We had a booking, yet the lady at the front desk, with a completely uninterested and sad face, made us wait 30–45 minutes before giving us a table. When we finally got one, it was filthy — dirty seats, spills of chutneys and liquids under the table, leftover cake and food crumbs on the chairs. We had to repeatedly point out every dirty spot before they reluctantly cleaned it. Even then, the cleaning was half-hearted, and we ended up wiping parts of the table ourselves with tissues.
Starters? What starters? Despite their claims of a vast variety, we were initially served just three: chicken, fish, and prawns. All of them were burnt, overly salty, and served in tiny portions. Asking for more was an exercise in patience — 4 to 6 prawns for a table of four, every 15–20 minutes. We had to ask for starters 10–20 times before they brought anything else.
Main course and desserts were no better. The taste was awful, the variety grossly exaggerated compared to their boasts of “70–90 items” online. In reality, maybe 30–40 items were available, and many were either “finished” or took 15–20 minutes to appear. For example, the mutton soup required a long wait just for cups to be brought. Dessert spoons? Nowhere to be found unless you asked. Ice cream and sweets tasted just as bad as the rest of the food — something I didn’t think was even possible until now.
Hygiene was appalling. The tables were never cleaned properly, under-table areas were disgusting, and the so-called “lava plate” was dirty even after I pointed it out. The bathrooms? Easily worse than public toilets. Staff were cleaning tables and without any gloves are coming to serve food.
