First thing first the security at the gate itself is very rude by showing his angry face when I asked him if there is a wallet parking available. He replied "Wait! I am coming" in an angry tone. I did not expect this in a hotel like Taj Vivanta. The worst experience i have ever had in my life is the food. I am a vegetarian and options for me are very very limited in both buffet or a la carte. When i was here there was a renovation going on the ground floor. After a lot of searching within the hotel we finally came to the restaurant. The service staff here are so lethargic when I asked for something in English they had a blank face with no expression then a manager who knows Telugu came to the rescue. On learning about being a retired Colonel, the staff swung into action as part of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav', paid tributes to the services rendered by me to the nation, in joining the celebrations and freshly baked cake cutting.    Read moreThe buffet was not that good..the variety of options are limited and very much narrowed down to few options comapred to the price they take...we went on a weekend even then not many varities...simple things like dal,panner , rice and sambar in veg..normal chicken biryani and few items in non veg...the desserts also are very limited and below avg taste...over all its just average ..!...
