Really Good Ambience which I liked and even Place is clean and neat. Having play area for small kids. And purely veg restaurant which is good enough for people who are pure veg as well as people who comes from Tirumala prefers only Veg. So it's good for those all.. And good wash area too.. Here you don't find South indian Thali in menu but they offers it seperately. Some what good enough but really not satisfied with Thali. As curries are not up to mark and even I can bet any one to taste sambar.. and definitely everyone feels same that it's really waste and no one can call it as sambar too. This is how they are maintaining. Papad is bad . Some customer service is ok but I can share u an experience which I have noticed..
Their main negative is Customer service team , who is offering their services based on customers looks as I have clearly observed a customer facing such issues.. it does not mean a customer who is well dressed to be treated different and who is dressed normally is to be treated on other ways. Generally Restaurant is Placed in main corner near to bus stand and so many who travels visits restaurant for having good food. So it does not mean everyone to be dressed or maintained in same way. A person who has visited tirumala and in return, comes to Tirupathi may not maintain that much decent dressing as they have completed good darshan and will not care much as it's travelling. But when comes and haves food in this restaurant.. customer faces this type of treatment from serving team which is obviously rediculous.. but if u take it in positive way.. customer has done good billing..
So, never underestimate looks. Just they should concentrate on their service levels and be mature enough to treat customers...

Located near the bus stand, it is easily accessible, making it a great place to stop for a delicious meal. If you're a fan of rich, flavorful North Indian cuisine, this is the place to be.
The food was outstanding! Every dish was well-prepared, bursting with authentic flavors, and made with fresh ingredients. The paneer dishes were incredibly soft and flavorful, the rotis were perfectly cooked, and the dal was rich and comforting. The variety on the menu was impressive, offering everything from classic curries to delicious starters. The taste was truly north Indian, which is often hard to find in South India.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re dining with family, friends, or even alone, it’s a great place to enjoy a peaceful meal.
The service was a bit slow, which was the only minor downside. However, despite the wait time, the staff was extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and even gave great recommendations from the menu. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better.
The pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. Given the excellent food and nice atmosphere, it felt well worth the money.
Overall, Jalpaan is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious North Indian food. While the service could be a little faster, the amazing flavors, great location, and friendly staff more than make up for it. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on this gem! Highly recommended for a satisfying and authentic North Indian...
Read moreThey're open at Tirupati and we had not other option to try them. Called their # to check availability, the lady didn't understand a word of English. Managed with my broken Telugu and reached there by 12:15 PM.
They're open for lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 hrs, according to her.
Ambience: It like a bedazzled huge space. Filled with white, silver and gold as their theme for chairs, upholstery and cutlery.
Service: All the staff in the restaurant seem to kind of despise each other. They were constantly arguing and fighting with each other even when the guests were there.
The guy who took our orders was a bit condescending the way he was taking and that was definitely off-putting.
The gentleman who served us spilled hot rice on my trousers and didn't even bother to say, sorry. Just amazed by how the restaurant staff memebers are trained.
Food: The thali was so so, loved their bindi fry, rice podi mix and curd kadi. I guess for the ambience, the charge was nominal.
FYI, ordering from their dessert store will impose INR 20+ their actual rates if they'll have to serve it to the table. We ordered the Mango Cup, Basundi and Onion Kachori. The actual price for all 3 were 150 INR, 20 INR each was added to the bill which made it 190.
