Their "hands-off" approach and highly "attentive" service (read: total neglect) will give you ample time to strike a pose, snap those selfies, and capture enough reels for a month of social media. Who needs a waiter when you've got a perfect light, right?

But seriously, guys, if you're expecting more than just a pretty backdrop, prepare for disappointment. Despite their pleasing decor, Latte Cafe falls flat in every other aspect of the dining experience.

The Good:

Aesthetically pleasing ambiance, perfect for those prioritizing style over substance.

The Bad:

Glacial service that makes snails look like Olympic sprinters. Staff who seem to have taken a vow of silence (or rudeness, depending on who you ask). A complete disregard for customer satisfaction, unless "satisfaction" means being left alone for extended periods.

Our Experience: After getting positive feedback from my sister and her friends who are a frequent visitors of Latte Cafe, I picked up this place for Mother's Day eve. Our Mother's Day reservation at Latte Cafe turned into a masterclass in how NOT to treat customers. Despite arriving on time and being seated promptly, we were subsequently forgotten. Forty-five minutes and several futile attempts at getting someone's attention later, our patience had worn thinner than their non-existent service. Even for six glasses of water, we had to remind them thrice. Even the manager, Mr. Anil, offered only a vague response to our concerns.

In a last-ditch effort to salvage the evening, we voiced our frustration to a passing waitress who was standing with her male co-worker(A lean woman and a bulky man). Her response? A shrug and a dismissive "do whatever you want." It seems Latte Cafe's staff has mastered the art of nonchalance, even in the face of justified criticism. Perhaps they've forgotten the age-old proverb: 'one unhappy customer can cost you many more.' No matter how busy you are if you are rude to those who are the main source of your business profit, your market credibility is going to come down. Either hire more staff to handle a crowded hour effortlessly or train your existing staff some manners. Since Latte has a continuous flow of customers, they don't care about losing some. We went there with so much of excitement but you ruined it all.

The Verdict:

Latte Cafe MVP Colony is a textbook example of style over substance. If you're seeking a culinary adventure or even basic hospitality, steer clear. But hey, if all you need is a well-lit backdrop for your next social media post and don't mind being treated like an inconvenience, this might just be your spot. Just don't expect anyone to actually serve you, or care about your experience.

Latte Cafe in Vizag has certainly earned a spot on my list of recommended eateries, particularly if you're craving fantastic pizza and expertly crafted coffee. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with a good ambiance that immediately put us at ease. The atmosphere was just right – a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for catching up with friends, having a casual meal, or even just enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The decor was tasteful, creating a relaxed and perhaps slightly trendy feel, making it a pleasant environment to spend time in. The service we received throughout our visit was nothing short of amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring we had a positive experience. Our orders were taken promptly, and the team was readily available to answer any questions we had. Their enthusiasm and efficiency truly stood out and elevated our overall enjoyment of the cafe. When it came to the food, the pizzas were amazing, without a doubt. They were the stars of our meal, boasting fresh ingredients, a perfectly cooked crust, and flavourful toppings. Each bite was a delight, and it's clear that Latte Cafe takes pride in their pizza offerings. They are definitely a must-try item on the menu. And as the name suggests, the coffees were equally impressive. Every cup we ordered was brewed to perfection, with a rich aroma and delicious taste. Whether you prefer a classic latte, a bold espresso, or a creamy cappuccino, you're sure to find a coffee you'll love here. However, while the majority of our experience was positive, there were a couple of areas where improvements could be made. The Japanese bowl, unfortunately, didn't quite live up to the same high standards as the pizza and coffee. While the flavours were present, the portion of broth was notably very little. A more generous amount of broth would undoubtedly enhance the dish and make it a more satisfying experience. The pasta, on the other hand, fell into the realm of average. It wasn't bad, but it also didn't particularly stand out or leave a lasting impression. While perfectly edible, it might not be the top choice if you're looking for an exceptional pasta dish. Despite these minor shortcomings, the overall experience at Latte Cafe was overwhelmingly positive. The exceptional quality of the pizzas and coffees, coupled with the genuinely amazing service and pleasant good ambiance, makes it a strong contender for a return visit. If you're in Vizag and looking for a cafe that excels in pizza and coffee, Latte Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Just maybe stick to the pizzas and coffees for a truly outstanding experience, and hopefully, they'll consider adding a bit more broth to their Japanese bowl...

Latte Cafe and Kitchen is hands down one of my most frequently visited spots in Vizag. I absolutely love the ambience—it’s cozy and inviting—and the service and food are consistently top-notch.

Their coffee is exceptional, especially the Vietnamese coffee, which I order every time. I do recommend asking them to go light on the condensed milk, as it can get a bit too sweet. One small suggestion: I really wish they served larger portions of their drinks because the coffee is just that good.

As a vegetarian, I’ve truly enjoyed their Italian offerings—the pastas and pizzas are flavorful and satisfying. The quality is impressive and hits the right notes every time. However, the vegetarian sushi and dimsums didn’t quite work for me—they lacked flavor and felt quite bland, so I wouldn’t recommend those.

It would be great to see them expand their drinks menu by adding some cold brews and refreshing beverages to make it more diverse and interesting. That said, whatever coffee beans they use are excellent—their brews are strong, rich, and exactly what I need when I’m feeling low.
