Panchavathi Tiffin Center — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

I loved it. Very nice south Indian tiffins. Fast service. Very reasonably priced all below ₹100. This is a very small tiffin centre serving tea, coffee and various types of south Indian tiffins, so no sitting place for families. Either eat standing or take away. Timings are from morning 6am to 10pm.

It has been there since years, located amidst various hospitals near Krishna nagar, collector office area, Visakhapatnam. Land mark KGH Govt. hospital. Nearby areas Krishna Temple, Beach, Taj residency, Novotel, Grand Bay.

Parking would be difficult for 4 wheelers as it is situated in between cross roads. All other roadside small eateries available next to Panchavathi Tiffin...

Excellent dosas. Down to earth, no-nonsense place. Polite staff.

The whole idea is to go and have food. The place serves different kinds of dosas, and vadas, and coffee of course. The quality of food is great, as long as it is hot (was not very impressed with some cold vadas they had). Of course the dosas are hot - they are made to order. The sambar and chutneys are great. And so is their filter coffee.

The place doesn't have any place to sit. But it is still a pleasant experience. And in the evenings, one can take the plate of food, and walk across to the low boundary wall of the building on the other side, and sit on it to eat. Quaint experience.

It's a small tiffin centre and I visit this place oftenly. The food taste is delicious and have many varieties like idly, dosa, Puri, uttapam, chapathi etc as shown in uploaded image. They open at early morning 07:00 and at afternoon they sell veg rice also which is really good. The prices are reliable and they don't accept any kind of digital pay, you have to pay in cash.
