WelcomCafe Oceanic Restaurant — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

We recently visited WelcomCafe Oceanic Restaurant for their dinner buffet and our experience was a mix of positives and drawbacks. The buffet spread was decent, offering a variety of dishes to choose from. There were multiple options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, covering different cuisines. However, while the variety was impressive, the taste was just okay—nothing exceptional but not disappointing either.

One major issue was the dining space, which felt too small to accommodate all the guests comfortably. During peak hours, it became crowded, making it difficult to find a seat and enjoy a relaxed meal. This was a bit inconvenient, especially for those looking for a peaceful dining experience.

One of the table where we sat had a corner broken. The glass windows have evident water marks. AC is very mild and we started feeling warm by the end of our meal. The lobbies are not turned on with AC. Washrooms are spotlessly clean.

Sweet corn soup is saltless. We had to add salt specifically. We ordered murgh tikka. The waiters do not have time to serve. The green chutney is few tea spoons and we did not get more even after we had asked for it. No extra onions are provided even after we had asked for.

Alfredo pasta is a little warm and not hot. The Dum Biryani is good with generous chicken.Chicken fried rice is tasty but quantity is less. It took 20 minutes or more for billing.Finally they could not generate a bill.We had to go to the billing screen to check and pay.

ITC does indeed live upto it's name ! My family love to travel , which eventually results us to stay in various hotels and resorts , but ITC was completely different. The atmosphere had a sense of comfort yet luxury hung in the air. The ambience , rooms , restaurant etc. are simply astonishing. I'll specially mention Mrs. Asoni and Mrs. Shipra for their great hospitality , their presence indeed made our day better. Other mentions for Mr. Rahul and Mr. Supriya as well. The staffs mentioned were extremely polite and approachable. They constantly had small conversations with us , which made us feel more comfortable.
