On Friendship Day, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at The Square in Novotel, Vizag, for their lunch buffet, and it turned out to be a remarkable experience that exceeded all our expectations.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the managers, Mr. Srikanth and Mr. Umesh, whose gracious hospitality set the tone for a delightful afternoon. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests was evident, making us feel right at home.

The service throughout our visit was nothing short of exceptional. Every member of the staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Special recognition goes to Bung, whose warm demeanor and professionalism truly stood out. Bung went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless, adding a personal touch that made our visit memorable.

Additionally, the efforts of Shiyaf, Shravya, and Bashir were commendable. Their friendly nature and eagerness to assist made our meal even more enjoyable. The team’s dedication to providing top-notch service was evident in every interaction, and it greatly contributed to the joyous atmosphere of the day.

The buffet itself was a culinary delight, offering a wide variety of dishes that catered to all tastes. Each dish was expertly prepared, reflecting both quality and creativity in every bite. The presentation was impressive, and the flavors were exquisite, showcasing the skill and passion of the culinary team.

Our special day at The Square was filled with laughter, delicious food, and excellent service. My family and I left with full hearts and happy memories, thanks to the outstanding efforts of the staff. Advise: Please don't visit this restaurant if you don't want to spoil any special occasion.

My story: Based on the reviews, I called the restaurant to book the table for four and requested them to make some special arrangements for my wife's birthday. They told they will take care of it. When I visited there I asked that I have a booking but no one bothers there. Then someone came and I requested them if we can sit outside near the pool. The restaurant staff told me yes you can but there will be insects. We saw the place and decided to sit outside only. I then asked the restaurant staff regarding the special arrangements, then I got to know there will be no special arrangements. Only we will give you one pastry. Ok, I said and then we give the food order (veg noodles, Dal makhni, Rajul ka kurma, Rotis). Waiter told us that usually they serve drinks only outside but we will serve the food but it will take time and will not be that much hot. We said ok no problem we will wait. After 35 mins we finally got the food. They served the food without any salad ,and sauces for veg noodles. We asked them to please give that too then again after 20 mins someone came with that. No one is looking the customers, even for water we have to wait for 20 mins. When I asked for the bill, they give me something else (attached). When I asked what's that they told us we don't have those items in our billing list so we calculated the same amount. I asked them to bring the food menu and when I calculated it's 1670 and they charged with fake bill for 1775 (excluding tax). Their waiters were having so much of attitude and arguing very like sir we already told you this and that. I paid the bill and thought of leaving that place asap as these guys already spoil the special evening which I planned to have with my family.

In Short: Pathetic Food, worst service, horrible...

I had the most disappointing experience at this place. I was so excited to visit here for the first time on my birthday but never thought such a beautiful place will disappoint me so much 1.Buffet was closed as we went around 3:30-4pm the manager didn't had the courtesy to show us a place to sit instead gave us the menu n left There was food spill in a table infront us it was as such for around 20 mins that was so much irritating 3.The waiter Krishna doesn't have basic sense when we spoke in English he talked in Hindi when we said in Hindi he behaved as if he doesn't know the language We asked for Virgin Margarita Princess mocktail but they gave us alcohol Margarita n when asked its not our drink are you sure Krishna made us feel as if we are uneducated n saying it's the virgin drink you ordered 5.When my fiance told him in Telugu it's tangy he didn't understand we told it's sour n tangy he made face as if he didn't get it then I said in Hindi he was like no it would be like this after the manager of someone told him he realised his mistake n got out order When we asked for outdoor sitting the manager refused on our face n said they only allow snacks item tht is not expected Coming to positive 1.Food was good as we are minimal eater so it was sufficient 2.Andhra fish tawa fry was above the top 3.The drink was also good Ambience outside was great pool n the beach was peaceful

Overall mostly disappointing but few good...
