If you’re visiting Tirupati and searching for a truly authentic Andhra experience, Subbayah Gari Hotel is a gem that delivers every time. The centerpiece here is the famed Godavari special meals, served with exceptional warmth and tradition. Each “Vindu Bhojanam” thali is a celebration with over 20 diverse vegetarian dishes, all carefully crafted—think jackfruit biryani, pulihora, pindi vantalu, boorelu, annavaram prasadam, and more, presented lovingly on a banana leaf. The flavors and nostalgia genuinely transport you to East Godavari’s heartland, with each serving echoing homestyle hospitality and rich Telugu culinary heritage. It also offers North Indian & À la carte dishes.

Equally impressive is their in-house store, offering a dazzling array of Andhra sweets and savouries. From boorelu to khaja and unique regional treats, this store is the perfect stop for gifting or carrying tasty memories back home.

Additionally, Subbayah Gari Hotel provides a pilgrim lodging facility. It’s remarkably well-maintained, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay – a boon for devotees. The location is prime, being conveniently close to Tiruchanur Padmavathi Temple and Govindaraja Swamy Temple, making it ideal for travelers seeking spiritual ease with culinary delight.

Polite staff, generous servings, and a clean, welcoming ambience make every visit special. Whether you come for the meal, the sweets, or the restful accommodation, you’ll find yourself returning for the genuine hospitality and flavors that linger long after your visit.

Highly recommended for families, foodies, and pilgrims seeking the best of Andhra—the experience here goes beyond food; it’s tradition served...

Subbaya Gari Hotel is a renowned name when it comes to authentic vegetarian dining, and my recent visit reaffirmed why it holds such a respected reputation. This place is a true gem for those who appreciate simple, yet flavorful South Indian food, served in the most traditional way.

The ambiance is homely and welcoming, offering a rustic charm that perfectly complements the style of food they serve. The moment you step in, you are greeted by the pleasant aroma of fresh ingredients and spices. The staff are courteous, ensuring that your dining experience is comfortable from start to finish.

The menu at Subbaya Gari Hotel is extensive, but the highlight is their thali, a wholesome meal that offers a variety of flavors on one plate. Each item is meticulously prepared, maintaining the authenticity of traditional Andhra cuisine. From tangy chutneys to rich curries, crispy papad to fluffy rice, every bite is a burst of flavor. Their unlimited serving policy means you can savor your favorite dishes to your heart’s content.

One of the standout features is the emphasis on health and freshness. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, and the use of ghee in their dishes adds richness without overwhelming the palate.

Overall, Subbaya Gari Hotel offers an exceptional vegetarian dining experience that balances taste, tradition, and hospitality. If you’re a fan of South Indian food, especially Andhra cuisine, this place is a must-visit. The food quality, variety, and service make it an...

Subbayya Gari Hotel is a culinary gem that I recently had the pleasure of visiting, and it exceeded all my expectations. This Andhra-style restaurant is a haven for food lovers, offering a delightful array of dishes that showcase the rich flavors and traditions of Andhra cuisine.

The highlight of my dining experience was the variety of food on offer. From delectable sweets to flavorful palya (vegetable stir-fry), aromatic chutneys, and an impressive selection of rice items, every dish was a masterpiece in itself. The menu is thoughtfully curated, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

The quality of the food is exceptional. Each dish is prepared with utmost care and attention to detail, ensuring that the flavors are authentic and the textures are just right. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite, elevating the dining experience to a whole new level.

The ambiance of Subbayya Gari Hotel is welcoming and vibrant, reflecting the warmth and hospitality of Andhra culture. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.

In conclusion, Subbayya Gari Hotel is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Andhra cuisine. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, tangy chutneys, or indulgent sweets, this restaurant has something to delight your taste buds. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their culinary offerings....

To tell you honestly, I visited the hotel due to the hype. The hotel is located in a small lane and a vacant site diagonally opposite the hotel has a limited parking space. There's a sweet shop at the ground level and the dining area is on the 2nd floor. We visited the hotel on a Saturday and half the restaurant had empty tables yet we were asked to wait. Reason.... shortage of staff, as mentioned by the manager. The ambience was very normal, not as I had imagined it to be due to the hype. We finally got the table after about 15-20 mins. We ordered the ₹290/- Special meals served on plantain leaf. What was impressive was the service which was top notch. The staff serving the dishes were explaining what was served and also suggesting how the dish should be eaten. We enjoyed the process thoroughly but what we did not enjoy is the taste. There were a number of dishes served as would be the case with typical South Indian meals. The dishes overall lacked the taste. There wasn't a single dish which we felt like wanting to have another serving. But truly impressive staff with abundance amount of patience.

A must try place in Tiripati for Andhra food lovers. Note that this is not a usual restaurant that serves Rotis, naans, curries etc. This is proper Andhra meal restaurant. Staff are trained and the good part is they serve you by explaining what each item is. We had special mean and they served around 20 items in the leaf. All the items are good, neither too spicy nor too non spicy. Spices are apt. Clean and hygiene are maintained. The restaurant was seen to be crowded on weekends but still you will have a proper wait queue like we experience in Bangalore (by noting names and count). The only unusual thing is you need to pay, get tokens before you occupy a table, which mean you will have to decide what to have beforehead (typical old style of hotel operation it that's okay given you won't have 50s of different items from where you have to pick. Parking for 2 and 4 wheelers are available and ambience is good. Btw the menu is all vegetarian and there is also a sweet outlet at the entry of the restaurant on the ground floor where you can also buy Andhra Podis.
