I recently dined at this place with my family, and I'm still thinking about that experience. It totally caught me by surprise!
Going in, I honestly had zero expectations. Didn't look it up online, didn't hear anything about it - just showed up. But the moment we walked through those doors, wow, I was completely blown away by the atmosphere.
The ambiance is absolutely killer - they've managed to recreate an Arabian desert vibe that feels super authentic. The lighting is minimal - like, seriously minimal. Sometimes you actually need your phone's flashlight just to read the menu or see what's on your plate! But that's part of the charm, you know? It makes everything feel more genuine and atmospheric.
I was super impressed by their attention to detail. Even with something as simple as the wash basin, they went the extra mile. Instead of those regular porcelain ones you see everywhere, they've installed these traditional "kund" basins. Little touches like that really elevate the whole experience.
We ordered two mandis, some roti, and curry. The mandi was definitely the highlight - honestly, I couldn't really tell you the difference between a mandi and a biryani (it tasted like a regular biryani to me), but whatever it was, it was delicious. One thing I'd point out - their menu isn't super extensive, and if you're going, I'd recommend sticking with the mandi options. They're the best value for money by far. The other dishes are fine, but you could get similar stuff elsewhere for less.
We tried their kheer for dessert, and it was just okay - nothing special. And for what they charged, the portion size was pretty disappointing. Definitely overpriced for what you get.
Here's my biggest tip: don't order this stuff for delivery. You've got to actually dine in to get the full experience. The ambiance is at least half of what makes this place special. Gather some family or friends, share those big plates together, and really soak in the atmosphere.
I'm honestly just happy that Tirupati has a place like this now. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out - just make sure you go for the mandi and enjoy eating it right there in that amazing setting. Trust me, the...
Read morePost checking with multiple local people we had went to Tabun Arabian restaurant. Firstly the ambience is worst. Second, servers are not receiving customers properly. Servicing is too bad. Coming to food, it's pathetic. Starters we took are Tabun Arabian platter(chicken is not fresh, taste is worse) - when we ask about the same they responded like Arabian items will be tasteless only, then Afghan chicken is tooo bad. BBQ chicken Mandi & Mutton Juicy Mandi we had ordered and the rice is too dry, Mandi flavour is missing, chicken pieces are not fresh, and juicy mutton is pathetic. We haven't eat anything and left everything in table as is. When we report on the same they said it is same from past 6yrs and noone complained. Finally they had billed for every item without worrying about customer satisfaction. Servicing is too slow, response from waiters is not smooth. Totally disappointed experience...
Read moreFair and tasty Arabian cuisine available here , on high way , easily approachable , try bread sweet and haleem. Probably the FIRST ARABIC THEMED RESTAURANT in TIRUPATHI. concept being brought to tirupathi is unique and the way of presentation is also appreciable and the cost is good. I felt they could have improved upon the indoor space that is available. Outdoor space is adequate but indoor space if it was available a bit more would have been helpful and could have added more impact.
